Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want you to be fully confident before you subscribe. This policy explains when refunds are available, how to request one, and what to expect during processing. Please read it before making a purchase.

1. Our Subscription Model

TopperOS offers monthly paid plans alongside a permanent free tier:

Subscriptions auto-renew monthly on the same date as your original purchase. You can cancel at any time before the renewal date to stop future charges. Access continues until the end of the paid period.

2. Refund Eligibility

You are eligible for a full refund if all of the following conditions are met:

  • Your refund request is submitted within 48 hours of the original payment.
  • You have used fewer than 3 AI evaluations or interviews in the current billing period.
  • Your account is in good standing with no violations of our Terms of Service.
To request a refund, email enquiries@balihans.com with the subject line “Refund Request” and include your registered email address and payment transaction ID.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Refund request made more than 48 hours after purchase
  • 3 or more AI evaluations or interview sessions have been used in the billing period
  • Account terminated due to a breach of our Terms of Service
  • Dissatisfaction with AI-generated content quality (evaluations are AI-assisted and inherently subjective)
  • Failure to use the subscription — unused credits do not constitute grounds for a refund
  • Requests made after the subscription period has ended
  • Payments made for the free Aspirant plan (no charge applies)

4. Technical & Payment Failures

  • If your payment was processed successfully by PhonePe but your plan was not activated in the app within 2 hours, you are entitled to a full refund or immediate plan activation — whichever you prefer.
  • If you were charged twice for the same subscription period due to a technical error, the duplicate charge will be refunded in full without conditions.
  • To report such issues, email enquiries@balihans.com with your transaction ID and screenshot of the payment confirmation.

5. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days from the date of approval.
  • Refunds are credited to the original payment method (UPI, debit card, credit card) used during purchase.
  • Processing timelines depend on your bank or payment provider and may vary.
  • You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated from our side.

6. Cancellation

  • You can cancel your auto-renewal at any time by emailing enquiries@balihans.com before your next renewal date.
  • Your paid features remain active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • After expiry, your account automatically reverts to the free Aspirant plan. No data is deleted.
  • To delete your account entirely, email dpo@balihans.com.

7. Consumer Rights Under Indian Law

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable Indian consumer protection legislation. If you believe you have a valid consumer grievance, you may also contact the National Consumer Helpline at 1800-11-4000 or file a complaint at consumerhelpline.gov.in.

8. Contact for Refund Queries
