This Privacy Policy explains how TopperOS (the "App") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data. By using TopperOS, you agree to the practices described in this policy. Please read it carefully.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to operate and improve the service.

3. How We Use Your Data

›Conduct AI-powered interview simulation sessions

›Send essential service notifications (e.g., account activity, policy updates)
›Diagnose technical issues and improve app features

We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to any third party for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage & Security

›All data is stored on Supabase, which runs on AWS and Google Cloud Platform infrastructure. Servers may be located outside India, including in the United States or European Union.
›All data in transit is protected by HTTPS / TLS encryption.
›Access to your data within our database is governed by Row-Level Security (RLS) — your records are accessible only to you and authorised system processes.
›Passwords are never stored in plaintext. Authentication is handled entirely by Supabase Auth using industry-standard hashing.
›We periodically review and update our security practices.

5. Voice & Audio Data

›Voice is recorded exclusively during Interview Simulation sessions that you actively initiate.
›Audio is transmitted to Google Gemini AI solely for real-time evaluation and feedback generation.
›Audio recordings are not permanently stored by TopperOS after the session evaluation is complete.
›Voice data is never shared with any third party for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than evaluation.
›You can decline to use the interview simulation feature at any time; doing so means no audio data is ever collected.

6. Third-Party Services

TopperOS integrates the following third-party services to operate. Each has its own privacy policy:

7. Data Sharing

›We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
›Data is shared only with the service providers listed in Section 6, strictly to operate and maintain the app.
›We may disclose your data if required by applicable Indian law, a valid court order, or government authority directive.

8. Data Retention

›Account and profile data is retained for as long as your account remains active.
›Exam scores, answers, and session data are retained for the duration of your subscription and a reasonable period thereafter for dispute resolution.
›Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently erased within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
›To request deletion, email dpo@balihans.com from your registered email address.

9. Your Rights (IT Act 2000 & DPDP Act 2023)

As an Indian user, you have the following rights under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023:

›Right to Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
›Right to Correction — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
›Right to Erasure — Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
›Right to Grievance Redressal — Lodge a complaint regarding data processing with our Data Protection Officer.
›Right to Nominate — Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.

To exercise any of these rights, email dpo@balihans.com from your registered email address with the subject line “Data Rights Request”. We will respond within 30 days.

10. Children's Policy

›TopperOS is intended exclusively for users who are 18 years of age or older.
›We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18.
›If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly. Contact dpo@balihans.com if you believe this has occurred.

11. Changes to This Policy

›We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law.
›Material changes will be notified via an in-app notice or email to your registered address at least 7 days before taking effect.
›Continued use of TopperOS after the effective date of any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
›The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest revision.
